Life in the Cages and Upon High

I’ve been working almost every night, and oh my god, it’s such a party here! I guess I went a bit overboard so far. I’m exhausted, but it’s been so fun. Phrix doesn’t seem to care if we drink a bit on the job since it helps loosen the dancers up. Syd… he gets out of control, but Phrix seems to overlook it since he’s popular and he never makes a bad scene in public so far that I’ve seen.

I tried Cali’s advice, and I strip and sell off a pair of panties on every set. Can you believe people give me like $50 for a $5-10 pair of panties each time? I’m going to just order lots of cute ones and keep selling them right off my ass. It’s awesome!

I’ve been still dancing the cages and the balconeys, and I’m getting really comfortable here. Next week I’m booked to try out the shower stage and see if I like it. There are some openings in the schedule up in the VIP for that, so I might take it if it goes well. I like the idea that you’re still enclosed, but people can tip you well with tokens and stuff. Cali showed it to me. They have a system sort of like… a slot machine or ski ball, I guess. Customers in the VIP put tokens or bills into the slots built into the stage, and when security escorts you out they give you the print out of your take for the set. You just turn it in at the bar at the end of the night to get your cash. Saves the logistics of collecting tips when you’re dancing in the water. Pretty clever.
